DMA Bands 2024-25
COME JOIN THE BAND!
DMA is thrilled to offer performance groups to enhance the music education of its students. Not only will young musicians improve their abilities, they will have the opportunity to implement the skills they have learned during private lessons into a performance setting. Playing in a group offers the added benefits of teamwork, social interaction, and an accountability to the group that will keep them motivated to practice. Memories and friendships will be made as groups work together towards a common goal, culminating in a live music performance.
DMA Garage Band
Ready to Rock? This beginner band group is for music students in their second year or above. Band members will learn how to play with other music students, and study rhythm patterns, chord progressions, and timing. As they play their way through a repertoire of influential bands, they will learn how to work as a team and have fun making music together.
Meets every Monday 6:30-7:30 pm during the School Year session (Aug 14 - May 21) *check studio calendar for school breaks
Requirements: Beginner level (2nd year student and above)
Tuition is $100 per month for 10 months Aug-May (10% discount if taking another music lesson). There are no refunds for missed classes.
DMA House Band
DMA HOUSE BAND is for advanced musicians by audition or teacher recommendation only. The DMA HOUSE BAND will perform at a public event as well as the Spring Music Recital.
Meets every Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm during the School Year session (Aug 16 - May 23) *check studio calendar for school breaks
Tuition $132 per month for 10 months Aug-May. (10% discount if taking another music lesson). There are no refunds for missed classes.
